Horticulture (A/V/M)

The study of sustainable horticulture encourages and enables students to develop an in-depth understanding of plant production through observation, experimentation, discussion, analysis and hands on experience.

In this course students will explore nursery system, maintenance and management, sustainability, conservation and food production horticultural practices. It will assist students in preparing for further studies or employment in the agriculture, horticulture or conservation and land management fields. Students may also study identified competencies from Certificate II in Horticulture (AHC20422) and the Statement of Attainment Certificate III in Horticulture (AHC30722).
